It feels like technology progresses faster than any of us can get a handle on it, and gear from just a decade or two ago looks archaic. Kids these days barely even know what a CD is, let alone a VCR, and walkmans are already in museums.

Here are 20 pieces of "vintage" tech that you'll only remember using if you're over a certain age. (You'll just have to guess what age that is.)

These even came equipped with Snake.
2. Music Listening Stations
So you could sample some tunes before settling on a purchase.
3. The J.C. Penny Electric Carving Knife
A turkey cutting specialist, I’m not sure why versions of this aren’t still in use. Do people not want a chainsaw for the kitchen?
4. Sound Blaster
TV-input video cards, for a good time and good tunes.
5. ‘80s Audio
Some seriously high-end tech.
6. Teletype
With manual dial-in capabilities.
7. The Television Record Player Liquor Cabinet
A true technological marvel.

Far superior to a USB stick… which are now obsolete in their own way.
